As November wraps up, PlayStation Plus is rolling out an exciting new batch of games for subscribers to dive into. The December 2024 offerings include three standout titles, one of which snagged the coveted Game of the Year award at The Game Awards back in 2021. Plus, for those who are nostalgic for the classics, some beloved PlayStation 2 hits have been added to the Classics Catalog for Premium members.
Among the highlights of the PS Plus December 2024 lineup are It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem, all set to delight PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium members alike. These games will be available for download starting December 3, 2024, and can be claimed until January 6, 2024.
The duo of It Takes Two and Aliens: Dark Descent can be enjoyed on both PS4 and PS5 consoles, while Temtem is exclusively for PS5 enthusiasts. But as with any new arrivals, some games are headed out the door. If you haven’t yet snagged the November 2024 games—Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, Ghostwire: Tokyo, or Death Note Killer Within—act fast, as they will only be available until December 2, 2024.
This December, PS Plus Premium members are in for a few extra treats. They can look forward to getting a sneak peek of Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 with a special game trial launching on December 3. While the exact duration of this trial hasn’t been specified, these previews usually run from one to three hours, giving players a decent window to get a feel for the game.
On the classics front, the PS Plus Premium Classics Catalog has been enriched with some treasured PlayStation 2 characters. Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves are joining the roster, completing the Sly trilogy for the first time in the service. Moreover, Naughty Dog’s Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy has also been added, offering players a chance to embark on epic quests with Sly or Jak starting December 10, 2024.
It looks like a fantastic month for PlayStation fans, so be sure to check out these offerings and make the most of your subscription.
