Since hitting the scene last December, Asgard’s Wrath 2 by Sanzaru Games has kept players on their toes with ongoing updates through Cosmic Events, which are special time-limited challenges. These events have thrown players into a whirlwind of tasks: tackling a vampiric outbreak, exploring the multiverse, and defending against the fiery forces of Surtur, among others. Now, as the curtain falls on these additions, the final showdown brings us face-to-face with Loki once more in “The Trickster’s Legacy.”
In this ultimate challenge, players are called upon to mend warped realities. This means diving into ‘?’ doors scattered across the Uncharted Rifts, navigating treacherous trap rooms, and conquering five divine trials all in a single run. Plus, you’ll need to deal with the ominous Loki Anomalies that have spread across the world. Successfully completing these missions will reward you with the Staff of the Trickster, replicas of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, plus a slew of emotes, badges, and titles.
While this event marks the last of its kind for new Cosmic Events, it’s not quite the end of the journey. Sanzaru Games has announced a replay feature called Into the Multiverse, allowing fans another opportunity to snag the rewards offered throughout the event cycle.
In addition to all this, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is adding a fresh wardrobe option for those who missed out on time-sensitive goodies from The Trickster’s Legacy. Meta Quest+ subscribers can look forward to donning a unique new outfit: dinosaur-themed armor hailing from the island of Laramidia, complete with a matching stone blade. This addition isn’t bound by any time limitations.
