Genshin Impact’s latest update brings with it an exciting new adventure as players can embark on the "Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls" journey alongside Citlali and Ororon. This event stands as the flagship of Version 5.2, offering a blend of captivating storyline elements, diverse minigames, and thrilling combat challenges. Each flagship event in Genshin Impact is a big deal, often offering players a chance to earn new characters or weapons as rewards.
In this version, Chasca and Ororon make their debut as playable characters. The update also expands the game world with the introduction of the Flowerfeather Clan and the Masters of the Night-Wind, the latter represented by Citlali and Ororon. Given the duo’s popularity since their introduction in Version 5.1, it’s no surprise that the developers chose Mictlan, their homeland, as the setting for the event.
According to an official blog post from Genshin Impact, the "Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls" event is set to run from November 28 to December 16. Players can dive into a cooperative minigame, engage in a combat event, and test their problem-solving skills with a puzzle game. Successful participants will earn Primogems, a Crown of Insight, and the coveted Calamity of Eshu—a visually striking 4-Star Sword inspired by the Masters of the Night-Wind. This sword is expected to complement any sword-wielding character who benefits from shield support, notably Clorinde or Ayato.
Activities:
-
Search for Lost Spirits: This cooperative minigame involves herding Roaming Spirits into the Spirithub, capitalizing on their instinct to steer clear of nearby characters.
-
Evil Banisher: Players will trigger a Banishing Aura upon completing specific objectives, dealing area-of-effect damage around the active character as a bonus.
- Restoring Fragmented Records: This puzzle activity challenges players to reassemble image fragments into their correct positions and states.
Rewards:
- Calamity of Eshu: It boasts a base attack of 565 and an ATK boost of 27.6%. Under protection by a shield, the damage from Normal and Charged Attacks increases by 20%, while their CRIT Rate is boosted by 8%.
- 4 Shuttle of Odara (Refinement)
- Crown of Insight
- 790 Primogems
- 34 Hero’s Wit
- 680,000 Mora
As players journey through Genshin Impact aiding Ororon and Citlali, they will face the trio of activities laid out in the event, including the Search for Lost Spirits, a strategic minigame to corral wandering spirits; Evil Banisher, a combat challenge that grants powerful bonuses; and Restoring Fragmented Records, a puzzle requiring careful placement of segments.
Participation in this Flagship Event requires completion of the Prologue in Genshin Impact. However, for a fully immersive experience, it’s recommended to complete Act 4 of the Natlan storyline first. Although the new sword doesn’t currently match any specific Natlan character, it’s possible it was designed with future powerful characters in mind, such as Iansan, Ifa, or Capitano—who again, is confirmed to be a Cryo Sword wielder.
