They released a significant update for Dragon Age: The Veilguard and introduced a brand-new stand-alone character creator for the game. This means players can now dedicate endless hours to customizing their Rook’s appearance without purchasing the game. And if they choose to buy the full version of Dragon Age: The Veilguard later on, they can seamlessly transfer their uniquely crafted character over.
The great thing about the stand-alone character creator is that there’s no rush; players can take all the time they want to perfect their Rook. So for those who love delving deep into character customization, Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s free creator is ready and waiting on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
In another treat for the Dragon Age community, BioWare announced something special for longtime fans. Those who own Dragon Age: The Veilguard can now adorn their Rook with armor, body paint, and the signature “nose blood smear” of Dragon Age 2’s hero, Hawke. After downloading the latest patch, these free cosmetics can be discovered in the Lighthouse, post-completion of “The Singing Blade” mission. The trend of robust character creation in games is increasingly becoming a major draw.
