Hey gamers, I’m Yosuke Futami, the producer behind Synduality Echo of Ada, and I can’t tell you how excited we are for all you Drifters out there to start your journey through Amasia. Tomorrow marks the start of the Open Network Test, so gear up, step into your Cradlecoffin mech, and let your Magus AI partner guide you through this epic adventure!
For those joining us anew in the world of Synduality, here’s a little background. It’s the year 2222, and humanity is in dire straits. Toxic rains ravaged our planet, giving rise to terrifying beasts known as Enders. To survive, the remains of humanity have taken refuge underground, venturing to the surface in massive Cradlecoffin mechs to scavenge vital resources. These mechs stand about 20 feet tall, and piloting them isn’t a solo task—it requires an AI sidekick called a Magus. Your Magus is crucial, both physically accompanying you and assisting as a digital projection during combat. Roam the ruins of Amasia, gather resources, and bolster your base and mech to ensure humanity’s survival.
Reflecting on the anime, your Magus is your most loyal companion in the unforgiving world of Amasia. As you explore, your AI will grow alongside you, highlighting crucial map points for resources or prime ambush spots for taking down rival Drifters. What makes Synduality intriguing is the unpredictability of your fellow explorers. Sometimes, teamwork can turn foes into allies, banding together to conquer tough adversaries and collect valuable items. However, don’t be too trusting—during our Closed Network Test, some Drifters found themselves betrayed just before extraction. This just reinforces the fact that in Synduality Echo of Ada, your Magus is your only reliable ally.
Speaking of our past tests, we’ve been diligently refining the game based on insightful feedback from our community. We’ve introduced a comprehensive tutorial to onboard newcomers to essential extraction shooter mechanics. Our dedication to reducing lag for seamless online play remains a priority, alongside balancing weapons and PvE interactions. Join us in the Open Network Test to share your thoughts, helping us release Synduality Echo of Ada in peak condition.
Today, we also unveiled a solo mission feature, diving deeper into Synduality’s lore. Players can uncover the mysteries behind Amasia’s collapse and the roles of the Drifter and Magus without risking their gear, though items found won’t be kept either. In these missions, manage your resources wisely while battling unique foes and piecing together the narrative through logs, records, cutscenes, and more once the full game launches.
In this Open Network Test, anticipate a wider array of garage customization options, Magus upgrades, costumes, and weaponry to experiment with. Whether you’re a veteran drifter or a newcomer, we can’t wait for you to join us in Amasia. Best of luck out there!
