Update 12/13: We’re thrilled to announce that after a productive testing phase with our Insiders, the Support Virtual Agent is now available to Xbox users in the U.S. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and shared their thoughts to refine this feature.
The Support Virtual Agent, powered by cutting-edge AI, is here to streamline how Xbox players tackle gaming support issues. Today marks its rollout to a select group of Xbox Insiders, accessible through support.xbox.com. This feature is designed to swiftly pull up information from the Xbox support site, aiding in resolving console and game-related queries. For now, it’s available to Insiders in the U.S. who have English set as their preferred language. Eligible users can start previewing this feature by logging into their Xbox Insider account on the support site.
Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. It will play a crucial role in enhancing the Support Virtual Agent. As you try it out, you can easily share your thoughts by using the “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” options on each response. Alternatively, there’s a “Give feedback” button at the page’s bottom for more direct input.
How to Use Support Virtual Agent
From today onwards, Xbox Insiders will notice the Support Virtual Agent on the “Contact us” section of support.xbox.com. Simply log in with your Xbox Insider Program-registered account, and you’ll spot the option to ask our new Support Virtual Agent your questions.
Click “Ask a question,” and you’ll find the Support Virtual Agent appearing in a new browser window ready for your text or voice inquiries. It provides relevant answers sourced directly from support.xbox.com. Should the agent be unable to solve your problem, you can opt to talk to a live agent during Xbox Support’s working hours.
Throughout this preview, you can personalize your interaction by clicking the ellipsis menu icon and selecting from two different Virtual Agents available.
