Although an exact release date is still under wraps, players can gear up for the game’s arrival this spring.
In an exciting shift, Forza Horizon 5 is set to arrive on PS5, breaking away from its Xbox exclusivity. The talented team at Panic Button is collaborating with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games to bring this exhilarating experience to PlayStation fans. You can look forward to hitting Mexico’s scenic routes and joining the Horizon Festival in spring 2025. Playground Games enthusiastically shared in a blog update, “We’re thrilled to welcome a new community of players. With nearly 900 cars, over 40 thematic updates, and two expansions, our PS5 launch is set to let PlayStation gamers dive into the Horizon Festival for the very first time.”
The development partnership promises a PS5 version that mirrors the Xbox experience, complete with delightful expansions like Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure. All previously released car packs will also be available for purchase, ensuring gamers have access to the full spectrum of content.
In addition, Playground Games is crafting a “special new free content update” called Horizon Realms, which will be accessible on all platforms. This update aims to offer a curated mix of beloved Evolving Worlds from the community, along with some exciting surprises.
