You can now explore the heights of Mount Olympus in Walkabout Mini Golf. The latest addition marks the game’s 32nd course, following the lively Viva Las Elvis released in January. According to Lucas Martell, the studio head, this course is significantly more expansive than the previously gigantic Temple At Zerzura from 2023.
Here’s a glimpse into the mythical experience you can expect: High above the Aegean Sea lies the fabled domain of gods and goddesses. In this sacred space, the Olympians gather to decide the fates of mere mortals, embarking on a legendary miniature golf adventure. Navigate your way through intricate temples, evocative mythological landscapes, and tricky obstacles. Be forewarned: the Olympian Council will soon test your skills, judging whether you are worthy of triumph or doomed to incur the gods’ displeasure!
As you ascend Mount Olympus, you’ll come across temples and offerings dedicated to the iconic Greek deities such as Zeus, Apollo, and Artemis. My guided tour with Walkabout’s creator, Lucas Martell, turned out to be our most extensive yet, offering an in-depth 28-minute look behind the scenes.

Recently, I had the chance to sit down with Don Carson, the senior art director at Mighty Coconut, for a detailed chat about their creative process. Carson explained how they strive to “over deliver” through a multi-layered design strategy that unfolds over more than a year, with different teams taking turns to refine each course. The studio, affectionately known as the Coconuts, now boasts a staff numbering in the dozens.
Following on Elvis’s success, which hit the highest single sales day in the game’s five-year history, will players return for the allure of Mount Olympus and keep up this momentum?
You can experience Walkabout across major headsets and on iOS.
