The forthcoming expansion, whimsically named ‘Ashes of Ur-Enku,’ promises to shake things up with 50 fresh cards, eye-catching diamond animated variants, a slew of new cosmetics, a redesigned season pass, tweaks for game balance, and a reset in rankings.
The expansion takes players into the wild terrains of Ur-Enku. Here, we’ll witness the Plundering Guild’s audacious quest—a fire-hunting expedition they’ve daringly embarked on. This forbidden endeavor leads to the discovery of ancient Dwarven archives buried under layers of untamed greenery. These archives reveal experiments with the elemental force known as Aether, yet only one adventurer will make it out alive—a tale as dramatic as it sounds, as shared by the studio.
Since its initial release nearly two years back, Cards & Tankards has seen an impressive array of updates. December saw the roll-out of Version 2.4, packed with comprehensive fixes. Earlier, Version 2.3 made waves by rebalancing more than half of the game’s existing cards. March brought the ‘Crusade of Sun & Stone’ expansion, not to forget the introduction of a ‘Ranked Mode’ at the close of 2023.
