Hey there! Konami is gearing up to drop a blast from the past with a Silent Hill transmission stream scheduled for later this week. We’re slated to get a sneak peek at Silent Hill f, a title that’s cheekily reminding us that sometimes it’s okay to break the mold with uppercase letters taking a back seat.
We’ve seen some Silent Hill action lately, especially with the stellar Silent Hill 2 Remake, a result of a great partnership between Konami and the Bloober Team. However, it’s been a while since we got our hands on a brand-new main entry in the series. That’s exactly the gap Silent Hill f is here to fill.
Just so you know, this Silent Hill transmission is set for March 13 at 10 PM GMT, equating to 3 PM PDT and 6 PM ET. Once it’s up, we’ll update this piece with the livestream link. Until then, your safest bet is to check it out on the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.
In terms of what you can expect, Konami has teased, “This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f.” And the game’s director, Al Yang, chimed in, “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
Need a little background? Silent Hill f was first announced in a 2022 transmission, right around the time we heard about the SH2 Remake from Bloober. Neobards Entertainment is at the helm, with the story penned by Ryukishi07, the mind behind the When They Cry visual novel series.
According to our go-to Silent Hill aficionado, Kelsey, the initial Silent Hill f teaser, showcased a haunting flower hat, and looked “rather fascinating and stylized.” So if you enjoy anything that gives you a scare, you won’t want to miss this showcase.
