Rebellion is gearing up to launch its first virtual reality game for the Zombie Army series, and fans won’t have to wait long. Set to hit all major VR platforms next month, the co-op campaign is bringing its eerie adventure to fans across the globe.
Starting May 22nd, players with Quest 2, PSVR 2, and SteamVR headsets can dive into the world of Zombie Army VR. Get ready to join the Deadhunters, an elite squad determined to take down the undead threat and save the world from the brink of destruction.
“Prepare yourself for a thrilling journey through the eerie ruins of Nuremberg,” Rebellion teases. “With the legendary Captain Hermann Wolff at your side, your mission is clear: locate his lost family and drive the zombie menace out of Europe for good.”
Offering a gripping, story-driven campaign, the game can be tackled solo or with a friend in two-player co-op mode. Players will have access to an astonishing array of World War II weaponry like sniper rifles, submachine guns, and pistols—which can be dual-wielded and manually loaded for a more immersive experience.
In addition to the intense battles, you’ll earn XP to enhance your Deadhunter, and Weapon Upgrade kits will allow customization of your arsenal’s range, accuracy, scope, and capacity.
Enemies in the game are more than just typical zombies. Get ready for iconic adversaries like Armored Giants and Suiciders, along with the chilling Sniper Zombies. Plus, the signature X-ray Kill Cam from Rebellion’s Sniper Elite VR (2021) is back, letting you enjoy those long-range shots in dramatic slow motion.
Zombie Army VR is now available for pre-order with a 10% discount off the standard $30 price. You can snag it on the Horizon Store for Quest 2, the PlayStation Store for PSVR 2, and Steam for PC VR headsets. Don’t miss out on gearing up for this undead battle ahead!
