For those unfamiliar, Berserk is a much-loved dark fantasy series created by Kentaro Miura in 1988. Even after Miura’s passing in 2021, the story has continued under Kouji Mori’s guidance. This series has spawned two anime versions, a trilogy of animated films, multiple video games, a novel, a trading card game, and has even collaborated with other titles like Dragon’s Dogma. Thanks to its widespread influence, Berserk and its protagonist Guts are recognized worldwide, making it a perfect match for Sanctuary’s dark atmosphere.
Details about the coming Diablo x Berserk partnerships are still sparse. This marks the first time both games are engaging in such a collaboration outside their usual realm, although they’ve previously joined forces with World of Warcraft.
