Good news for Xbox enthusiasts—the Xbox app is getting an upgrade! Soon, you’ll be able to buy games and extra content, join Game Pass, and redeem Perks all without leaving the app on your mobile. Imagine pre-ordering titles like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 and pre-installing games such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows and MLB The Show 25 right from your phone. Game Pass joining is also streamlined; Ultimate members can redeem Perks directly too, like snagging the Sea of Thieves Seventh Serving Emote.
This highly anticipated feature will first be available to beta users on iOS and Android before hitting the Google Play Store and Apple Store for everyone. And if you’ve got a saved payment method, buying games is just two clicks away in the Xbox app.
### Stream Your Games on Xbox Consoles
From today, Game Pass Ultimate members have the opportunity to stream select games they own alongside the Game Pass catalog directly from their Xbox consoles. This expands the devices from last November, which included Samsung Smart TVs and more. Now, you can jump right into gaming without downloading or installing—ideal for saving time and storage.
To start streaming, head to My games & apps, then Full library, and Owned Games. Look for the cloud badge on game pages, use filters for quick searches, and when you’re ready, hit Play with Cloud Gaming. Even when you buy cloud-playable games, you can start streaming straight from the Store app.
### Explore Over 100+ Streamable Games
We’re thrilled to keep adding to the Stream Your Own Game collection for Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta). Game Pass Ultimate members now have access to stream over 100 games on supported devices. Recently added titles include:
– Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed
– Kill It With Fire
– LEGO Marvel Superheroes
– Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2

By bringing Xbox remote play and Xbox Cloud Gaming under the Xbox.com banner, the experience is more streamlined for more devices. Plus, backward-compatible games from the OG Xbox and Xbox 360 will now be able to stream via remote play.
### Free Up Space with New Storage Solutions
Today’s update introduces a smarter way to manage storage on Xbox consoles. Alongside identifying unused add-ons, the system now suggests removing duplicate games or titles that you can’t access anymore. To explore this hack, navigate to My Games & Apps > Manage > Free up space.
### Discover Game Hubs
Xbox console users, rejoice! Game Hubs have landed, showing you everything you need to know about a game—from your own stats and achievements to friends currently playing it. You’ll find add-ons, events, and more all in one spot. These hubs pop up for some users when selecting games from their recent or installed lists and are focused on getting you straight into gameplay quickly.
If you prefer bypassing hubs, there’s a new setting to launch games directly. Check it out in the personalization settings or under My games & apps.
