Get ready for an exhilarating experience as Pixel Arcade, a thrilling VR platformer, makes its debut on Quest today. Created by CJG Studio, this game invites players into a vibrant world of neon landscapes where parkour skills are put to the test. You’ll need to navigate these dynamic environments, aiming to achieve high scores on a global leaderboard. But watch out—lasers and bounce pads are lurking, ready to turn your well-planned trajectory into a risky gamble.
The game features ten unique levels, each introducing a host of spatial challenges that will keep you on your toes. As you hone your skills and progress through the game, checkpoints become your lifeline, ensuring you can lock in your achievements without starting from scratch.
Building on the legacy of its 2016 predecessor, Pixel Arcade Legacy, CJG Studio has infused the new Pixel Arcade with impressive visual enhancements and new environments. The vibrant, pixelated worlds that players loved are back, now with even more to offer in terms of strategy and design.
While Pixel Arcade launches without a multiplayer option, that’s set to change. CJG Studio has announced that multiplayer capabilities, along with seasonal updates and additional content, are in the pipeline.
Previously available on Steam Early Access, Pixel Arcade is now officially launched for Quest. Plus, fans can look forward to a PlayStation VR2 version, which is teased as “coming soon” in the game’s trailer.
Notably, there was a mix-up earlier this year when the Quest version release was initially planned for January 31. With today’s confirmed launch, we’re thrilled to announce this much-anticipated arrival once more.
