Hello everyone, I’m Kit Navock, stepping in as the new Chief Marketing Officer at Immersed. Not too long ago, I sold my own company. Like many founders after such a milestone, I found myself reflecting—considering what kind of work and people I wanted to align with next. After some contemplation, I joined Immersed because I truly believe in their vision. And if you can see the potential too, you might want to hop on this journey with us as an investor before we pick up even more speed. But first, let me walk you through how I found myself here.
I’ve been aware of Immersed for quite some time. Years back, I invested early and got to know the team gradually—through casual meet-ups, shared interests, and brainstorming sessions at their Austin office. I even ended up hiring someone from their circle for my former company. My curiosity evolved into great respect. These folks weren’t just sharp—they were remarkable individuals: gritty, ambitious, humble, and mission-focused.
Fast forward to a few months ago, I messaged Renji, Immersed’s founder, about some basketball news. His response took me by surprise:
“You should come work with us.”
Initially, it wasn’t an obvious path. I took his call half out of amusement. Even if I hadn’t known him for years, he’s a persuasive guy. The thought lingered. I mulled it over for days. I reached out to my closest confidants—friends and mentors. I explained that life was good: consulting 20 hours a week, enjoying a slower pace post-company sale. Yet, this prospect felt… unique.
They all had one piece of advice: You should pursue it.
I accepted a salary lower than what I’ve been accustomed to, with the promise of equity that might take time to materialize. I wasn’t in it for a quick profit—I joined because I have faith in the team and their product, aiming for something that could become the next tech behemoth. Once I got hands-on with what they’re crafting, it blew my mind. Everything clicked into place.
Now, let’s talk about the Visor.
Truth be told, I’m relatively new to the XR scene. While I’m no stranger to tech, I wasn’t the kind to strap sensors to my head experimenting with OpenVR back in 2016. I’m more of a mainstream user—a newcomer. I purchased an Apple Vision Pro out of curiosity to experience spatial computing.
Though it mostly met expectations, my productivity and focus improved. Then I tried Visor—Immersed’s very own headset—and it was everything I didn’t know I needed.
The Visor is impressively lightweight at around 186 grams, lighter than my phone. It resembles thick sunglasses, operates standalone, boasts dual 4K micro-OLED displays, and offers a 3-hour battery life. But what truly stands out is its compatibility with mainstream tools like VS Code, Figma, email, Blender, and more—Netflix too. It’s not an accessory to your computer; it’s built for real-world utility.
This device isn’t a developer kit, nor is it a gimmick. It isn’t bulky or excessively priced. Rather, it seamlessly integrates into your daily workflow.
Even as a newcomer, I recognize that this isn’t merely a prototype. It’s the first device that left me thinking, “This is ready for everyone.”
As we move from an app to a full-fledged platform, with the inclusion of the AI Co-Pilot, we’re breaking new ground.
Immersed, as many know, is the leading AR/VR productivity app globally. It provides multi-monitor AR/VR workspaces, low-latency streaming, and real-time collaboration. With Visor, we’re expanding into a comprehensive spatial computing platform. It’s like the vision Steve Jobs had for Apple: building a holistic ecosystem.
The game-changer for me was Curator AI—a personalized co-pilot that intuitively understands workflows, minimizes switching between tasks, and subtly enhances productivity. This isn’t just an added feature—it’s integral to the platform. It embodies what Siri should be—yet isn’t.
Coupled with the Visor and Curator AI, this integration ushers us into a new dimension beyond just LLMs—bridging into the physical realm. With OpenXR compatibility, developers have the freedom to create—be it tools, agents, or entire applications.
This isn’t about simply transitioning your desktop into 3D. It’s about architecting spatial productivity with AI naturally integrated from inception. It’s designed for innovators.
Joining Immersed wasn’t just about discussing floating screens and digital avatars. I joined because I believe spatial computing will redefine our professional and personal lives. The synergy of immersive environments, core tools, and constant AI assistance is monumental—and it’s catching up faster than many anticipate. The team at Immersed possesses the vision, expertise, and manpower to drive this evolution. That’s why I’m here.
And this isn’t just a pursuit for tech enthusiasts. Immersed is building solutions for engineers, designers, traders, artists, entrepreneurs, filmmakers—anyone whose work revolves around screens. As AI and robotics continue advancing, the value of a reliable immersive spatial platform will only increase.
Visor transcends being just a headset. The Immersed platform exceeds being merely a virtual workplace. Curator surpasses the role of a typical LLM AI. Together, they form an ecosystem that empowers us all to elevate.
We’re thrilled to share this journey with you.
If you’ve been waiting for someone to craft the right headset and company behind it, now’s your moment to join in. Be part of bringing spatial computing to the forefront with Immersed.
